Dena Crane has
a mediation practice called Creating Justice , Family and Divorce
Mediation. It is based on 3 perspectives that can develope during
a mediation. Insight , Compassion, and Response. " Mediation's potential transformative
effects are that it can strenghten people's capacity to analyze
situations and make effective decisions for themselves, and it
can strenghten peoples capacity to see and consider the perspective
of others. In short mediation is a process that enables people
in conflict to develope a greater degree of self determination
and responsiveness to others, while they explore solutions to specific
issues." (Bush and Folger, 1994 The Promise of Mediation)
